And now a few words from our friends…

“I had always wanted to learn to ride horses so in the fall of 2006, after my youngest child left home, I felt it was time to learn.
Tina Prout, barn owner and trainer, has ridden and owned horses her whole life. As a trainer, Tina is very patient and very encouraging. She started training me Western but about a year later I made the switch to English. I loved it just like she said I would! I’m now riding/showing dressage and I’m thrilled that she has started the dressage clinics this year.
I now have four horses of my own and I board them all at Creekside. She and her staff have taken wonderful care of my boys and treat and care for them as if they were their own.
Through the nine years I have been at Creekside, I have gained confidence as a rider and completed a life long goal to show my horses.
I have and will continue to highly recommend Creekside Equicenter and Tina Prout for boarding, horse training and lessons.”

To whom this may concern,
I have been with Creekside since this beautiful facility opened. I have one horse in her very late thirties. My daughter was still very young at that time when she started taking lessons with Tina. Tina has the patience of a saint with both the rider and the horse. Throughout the years I have never ever seen her lose her temper nor raise her voice. Tina has made riding and competing so much fun for the riders, my daughter could not wait to show season to start. My daughter has grown as a rider, and as a sophomore now in high school she has made the Culver Equestriennes’s team.
As far as the facility goes, it is always well maintained, clean and airy. Having an indoor arena makes all the difference in the world, when there is snow on the ground, or even when it is just raining. Lessons can be taken all year round!
Last, but by no means least, is horse care. My horse’s name is Lady, and in spite of her age she is still able to give lessons to new little riders once or twice a week. Tina gives my horse the very best of care. She calls the veterinarian or farrier, and she religiously provides whatever food supplements, vitamins, or exercise is needed. Lady is turned out every day. I can honestly say I do not worry about my Lady because I know she is in excellent hands. Every horse at this barn is treated with the same attention and care.
I feel extremely blessed to have found both Tina and Creekside. I believe that Lady is doing extremely well at her very advanced age – all because of Tina’s great care and attention!
Feel free to contact me for any reason.
Very truly yours,

“Creekside Equicenter is an exceptional horse farm with top quality facilities and, most importantly, top quality service. The horses are all meticulously cared for and are relaxed, healthy, and happy in the uniquely serene environment that Creekside has to offer.
I love the warm, friendly environment of the barn where all staff members and boarders are encouraging of each other in all disciplines and levels of riding. As the mother of a horse rider, I give my strongest recommendation for Tina as an instructor and trainer. I have witnessed Tina’s ability to train even the most difficult horses, using her learned skills and inherent ability to adapt her techniques to best match the unique characteristics of a given horse, always achieving outstanding results.
As an instructor Tina is always cognitive of the abilities of her students and which methods of instruction were most effective for different individuals. This allowed her to bring out the best in each rider, regardless of skill level or previous experience.
Perhaps most importantly, Tina always placed safety first, for the riders and the horses.
I also really appreciate the barn social activities organized and sponsored by the Prouts. They are an added bonus and are great fun!
Last but definitely not least is the fact that all animals at the barn both big and small, including the famous “Captain” are respected and loved. The Prout’s are very special people with big hearts and the ability to imagine what an ideal horse barn would be and to then make it happen. An extra special thank you to Tina & Colleen who pamper the horses and always make me smile.”

“Our daughter has ridden at Creekside for almost 10 years. Tina is an excellent trainer who has a unique ability to understand her riders. She introduces the right skills at the right time for a rider’s development and keeps a consistently positive attitude. The community at Creekside Equicenter is special — the riders are focused and intense but they are also supportive of each other and respectful. Our daughter has learned to be a better person as well as a better rider – and this has made all the difference.”
